Blue Flax on the Road to Lost Lake. (Updated photo from 2010)Blue Flax (Linum perenne lewisii) is a common Front Range wildflower. I usually see it later in the summer when things are really dry. It blooms from May to August all the way from the plains to the Subalpine zone.
